Jay’s Boat Dock on Boone Lake in Tennessee was opened in 1952 by Jay McCracken. Jay was not a fisherman nor could he swim. His love of boats and people helped him recognize the need for a family-friendly atmosphere catering to the needs of folks who enjoy all different aspects of lake life.
Boat slips, floating cabin slips, jet ski slips, houseboat slips, and pontoon rentals are available.
Jay's Grill, opened May 18th serving Hamilton Meats’ fresh ground beef burgers, chicken tenders, house-smoked barbeque, and unique items such as a strawberry-goat cheese salad.
Our restaurant is open during the summer season for lakefront fun and food. Jay’s is a favorite to locals and visitors alike. Our delicious food, cold beer, and live music make summer nights unforgettable.
Hang out on our deck overlooking the water with some good food and a cold beer. Visit us on Thursday nights for karaoke to show off your singing skills. There is live music every Friday and Saturday with DJ bingo on Sundays. You’ll believe life can’t possibly get any better.

PartiesWe’ve been to all the marinas around here and Jay’s has always been my number one. Since my very first trip to Tennessee when we drove around the corner and we saw it and I said to Ron, “Now that’s where I want to be someday.” And now our dream has come true.
Jay’s is the most beautiful and functional marina on Boone Lake–even the entire Tri-Cities area. Their convenient location, many activities including a delicious fish fry on Fridays, and great entertainment make them the best marina.
Jay’s Boat Dock is our go to place during the summer months. Great food, friendly atmosphere, and a wonderful place to meet our lake neighbors. Can’t wait for warm weather to arrive and Jay’s to open for the season.
Jay’s is like a family at the lake. Everyone there is there for all of the right reasons, enjoy the environment, enjoy the fellowship, and enjoy another wonderful Northeast TN day. Having been at Jay’s for over forty years, I have seen it grow while always maintaining its “welcome back” atmosphere. Here is to the next forty years!
Cindy and her crew at Jay’s have always been wonderful to work with and rent from. They keep the facilities clean and in fully functional condition. While I was out of town, Cindy was even kind enough to help my wife get our jetski off a lift so a cold snap of weather we got wouldn’t damage it! Great folks and facility all the way around!
Jay's is the place to be! We have been to marina's from here to Watauga to dock our boat, left Jay's once, ended up coming back. The amazing job Cindy & Jeff continue to do in order to keep the property & facilities maintained is top notch! They continue to provide clean facilities & a safe environment for their boaters & guests! They're always updating something on the grounds, & let's not forget the Customer Service is outstanding from renting the Boat Slip, to Jay's Grill, & even just getting fuel! They have really made us feel at home here & always eager to help with anything, even if you have a simple question! Would highly recommend Jay's Boat Dock & Jay's Grill.
